When you book a bicycle into our workshop or contact us, we may use your name, mobile number, email address, bicycle details, requested work, quotation and workshop status.
How we use it
We use this information to manage your booking, prepare quotations, carry out authorised repairs, send service and collection updates, answer your questions and keep the workshop’s service records. We do not sell customer information.
WhatsApp messages
Staff choose when to send a workshop update or quotation through our WhatsApp Business number. Replies are stored in our secure workshop system so authorised staff can help you. WhatsApp and Meta process messages under their own terms and privacy policies.
Storage and access
Customer and workshop records are protected with account access controls and are available only to authorised GearUp staff and service providers needed to operate the system. We keep records only for legitimate operational, accounting and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct your details, stop non-essential messages or request information about the personal data we hold. Some service and financial records may need to be retained where required by law.
