Rules, Indemnity and Disclaimer

All participants agree to and hereby bind themselves to the following RULES and indemnity: The participant / member undertakes and agrees to ride / run / walk all trails and use all areas entirely at his or her own risk, both in respect of personal injury and damage to and incidental to assets.

The member / participant / invitee must abide by the following RULES: stick to the marked Trails and stay off the Golf Course Greens, Fairways, Bunkers, Tees and other dedicated Golfing specific areas. No fishing in the dams and feeding of birds / geese are allowed. Dogs must be on a lead and under proper control of it's owner.

IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE NOT ADHERED TO, MEMBERSHIP MAY BE CANCELLED.

The member hereby waives and shall have no claim whatsoever against Port Elizabeth Golf Club, Scott Sports Africa (Pty) Ltd (main sponsor) and other sponsors, Gear Up Cycles and Trails (Bicycle Shop) and or any landowners, organiser, volunteer helper or marshal, hereinafter referred to as parties, in respect of any injury, loss or damage that I may suffer arising from any injury or damage to property, caused directly or indirectly by the negligence, albeit gross or otherwise, of one or more of the afore-mentioned parties. I hereby indemnify the parties against all liability and confirm that this acceptance of risk, undertaking and indemnity is also binding on my estate. If the participant is a minor, the parent, guardian or adult supervisor of the minor confirms that the minor is using the Trails and using all areas at his or her own risk and indemnifies the parties against claims by or on behalf of such minor and hereby indemnifies the parties in respect of any injury, loss or damage as referred to above. I, or in the case of minor, the parent or guardian, confirm that I have read and understand the effort of this indemnity. All or any of the parties may accept the benefits which accrue to them in terms of this indemnity at any time after it has been submitted by the participant. I hereby undertake to use my best endeavours to bring this disclaimer to the attention of all of my invitees and all other users as far as reasonably possible. If and when I walk a dog, that dog will be kept on a lead and fully under my control.

I agree to abide by the RULES and the Constitution of The Port Elizabeth Golf Club (PEGC) which is available at PEGC Reception and on the website www.pegc.co.za/
